If you own property in South Carolina with Lincoln exterior-glazed wood or aluminum-clad windows, you may qualify for benefits from a class action settlement.

The previously-announced Settlement involving exterior glazed wood (primed) and aluminum clad wood double-hung, glider, and Quantum double-hung windows ("Lincoln Exterior Glazed Windows") manufactured by Lincoln Wood Products, Inc. (“Lincoln”) between April 1, 1999 and January 1, 2007 and installed in South Carolina, and all exterior glazed double-hung replacement sash and replacement sash kits installed in the foregoing windows, regardless of when the replacement sash or kit was manufactured, has become final and you may now file a Settlement Claim. Lincoln denies the allegations and there has been no determination of wrongdoing by the Court.

Who is included?
The Settlement includes current owners of a home or other structure in the State of South Carolina with Lincoln's Exterior Glazed Windows. A complete list and description of the windows covered by the Settlement and detailed instructions on how to identify if your windows are part of the Settlement can be viewed on the Affected Products page.

What does the Settlement provide?
If you have Lincoln Exterior Glazed Windows, you may be eligible for money benefits. The amount for which you may be eligible depends on (1) the number of affected windows, (2) whether the leak resulted in window deterioration at the window sash or frame corner, (3) whether a leak in a deteriorated window caused additional water damage to the surrounding drywall or trim, and (4) whether you previously purchased certain sash replacement kits from Lincoln. Class Members may be able to receive $75 to $600 per window depending on the location and type of water-related damage. There is no cap on the number of windows per household that a Settlement Class Member is entitled to claim. View detailed information regarding the types of eligible damages and potential compensation on the Affected Products page.

How do I make a claim?
You can now submit a Settlement Claim Form either by mail or online, through this Settlement Website.
